Students from the Acting Department of the Shanghai Theater Academy presented their graduation performance “Two Swords” on Sunday evening.
Based on the fantasy novel “Forging the Swords” by veteran Chinese writer Lu Xun, the play took the students half a year to prepare.
The drama is a new interpretation of the historical short story about Meijianchi's revenge for his father's murder.
It will also be performed at the Harbin Grand Theater and Beijing's Tianqiao Performing Arts Center in the following month.
